IRVING, Texas – Last month the buildings for the new University of Dallas Baseball Clubhouse were delivered on campus. Construction and renovations have been completed of the new facility, which sits behind the right center field wall and is across the roadway from the softball field.
This building will serve as a locker room, player lounge for film, and coaches' offices. The players were able to utilize the locker room for its final home baseball series against Schreiner University this spring.
Special thanks to the UD Booster Club for fundraising to help make the purchase of this facility possible. One year ago, the Crusaders were able to upgrade their batting cages with a roof and lights. Funds from the booster club were able to support that endeavor.
Huge upgrade for UD Baseball is finally done!! Brand new clubhouse with locker room, players lounge, and coaches offices. We worked hard for this and couldn't be more excited for the guys to have a place to call their own. #UDBaseball pic.twitter.com/JTqIRd0c9Y— Michael Schweiss (@CoachSchweissUD) April 26, 2018
