  • USCAA Track & Field Player of the Week Honors Return to McGuirk & Wilgenbusch

    NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Dallas track and field team had a pair of runners tabbed United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Player of the Week for the second time this season and this month. It was the same duo as before, with Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) on the men's side and Anna Wilgenbusch (St. Paul, Minn.) on the women's team. 
  • McGuirk Sets School Record in 400 Hurdles Race at East Texas Invitational

    COMMERCE, Texas - The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the East Texas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M Commerce on Friday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) set a school record and a new Personal Record (PR) in the 400 hurdles with a time of 56.41 which was good enough for eighth place.
  • Track & Field East Texas Invite Moved to Thursday and Friday

    COMMERCE, Texas - Due to inclement weather in the forecast on Saturday, Texas A&M University-Commerce announced this morning it has rescheduled the East Texas Invitational track and field meet to Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12.

    Two Crusaders with one from the University of Dallas men's track and field team and one from women's track and field earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Player of the Week Selections for their performances from the week of April 2. 
  • McGuirk Breaks 400 Meter Hurdles School Record in Third Straight Meet; Shaves Off 0.63 Seconds on Saturday

    MAGNOLIA, Ark. - The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the Dan Veach Invitational on Saturday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) broke a school record in the 400 meter hurdles for the third straight meet and fourth time in his career. McGuirk shaved off 0.63 seconds for a time of 57.61 as he finished in third. McGuirk also set a Personal Record (PR) in the 110 hurdles finishing with a run of 17.24 for a fourth-place finish.  
  • McGuirk Sets New School Record in 400 Meter Hurdles at TLU D3 Challenge on Saturday

    SEGUIN, Texas - The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the TLU D3 Challenge in Seguin, Texas on Saturday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) notched a Personal Record (PR) and set a new school record in the 400 meter hurdles after finishing in fifth place with a 58.24 mark. His previous record was a 58.66 set at the Marc Randle Classic earlier this spring. This is the second time McGuirk has bettered his school record this season. Thomas DePetris (Houston, Texas) also set a PR in the 800 meter race finishing seventh with a time of 2:03.83.
  • McGuirk PR's to Break Own 400-Meter Hurdles Record at Marc Randle Classic

    BULLARD, Texas - The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the Marc Randle Classic hosted by UT-Tyler on Friday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) broke the school record in the 400-Meter Hurdles for the second time in two seasons. McGuirk posted a personal record (PR) time of 58.66 seconds. His previous record was a 59.69 mark at the Dan Veach Invitational in Magnolia, Arkansas on March 31, 2018.
  • Crusaders Open up Season at HSU Early Season Invite; McGuirk Notches Personal-Best in Javelin Throw

    ABILENE, Texas - The University of Dallas men’s track and field team began the 2019 season at the HSU Early Season Invite on Saturday (Feb. 23). Odd conditions on the day with 30 mph wind gusts and temperatures in the high 40s made for a challenging day. McGurik PR'd in javelin throw after four-meter improvement.
  • Crusaders Unveil 2019 Schedule; Begin February 23rd

    IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas track and field has finalized its 2019 schedule. Fifth-year head coach Matt Barber will lead the Crusaders in six competitions this spring. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships will be held this year at Trinity University April 26th-27th. The men’s and women’s teams will both compete in the same competitions this season.
