Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer has 'tough go' versus Centre College

The University of Dallas women's soccer team (3-8-1) and Centre College squared off Friday afternoon at Crusader Field.

Christina Giles netted the match's first goal in the 8-minute mark, giving the Colonels the early lead.  

Centre College tacked on two more scores before UD's Claire Sexton (Salem, Va/Salem H.S.) tallied an unassisted goal in the 51-minute, making the score 1-3.   

Sexton's goal proved to be UD's only shot of the game, as they were outshot by Centre College, 1-24.  

UD freshman goalkeeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, VA/Trinity at Meadowview) had seven saves, while allowing four goals in this tilt. 

The Crusaders will play a home game Sunday, Oct. 17, when they battle DePauw University at 12:00 p.m.
