IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team (5-5) totaled a season-high in scoring with a 13-1 victory versus Dallas Baptist University (0-9) on Thursday afternoon. Dallas improves to .500 with back-to-back wins for the fourth time this campaign, and have prevailed a record amount in a season, since taking four games in 2011.

All of them contributed on the men's lacrosse team's big day, with each tallying at least a pair of points. Shaughnessy shifted the game's momentum as he scored his first goal of his career to start the second quarter, which propelled the Navy and White to a 4-0 run in the frame.

In his final home game, Wooten dished a season-high three assists to give him four points, which tied for second in the game.
It was a back-and-forth opening stanza, as the home squad only held a 1-0 edge through the first 15 minutes.
The final six minutes of the second witnessed a shooting barrage that saw UD find the back of the cage. Junior Matthew Cyr (St. Louis, Mo.) led the offense by tying a season-high, five goals for the third time.
Fellow teammate Alex Ziolkowski (Ann Arbor, Mich.) was right behind with his highest output this year with four. It is his third hat trick in the past four matchups, and he paced the team with 11 shots on goal in 14 attempts.
Rounding out the trio of multi-scoring players for UD was Wellwerts tallying his second and third netters of his career. The attacker etched his first collegiate goal last Sunday at Centenary College.
