KERRVILLE, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team extended their winning streak to five games with their 2-0 win over Schreiner University.
The Crusaders were dominant again today, particularly in the first half when they outshot the Mountaineers 13-1. After all that attacking, Rachel Rodriguez finally put the Crusaders in front in the 41st minute with her second goal of the season.
Andrea Coppi made it 2-0 in the 58th minute with her first goal of the season, the Schreiner slammed their foot on the gas pedal. The Mountaineers outshot UD 10-3 in the second half, but the Crusaders defense wouldn't budge as they kept their fifth straight clean sheet. They have outscored their opponents 16-0 in this five game stretch. The last time the Crusaders kept five straight clean sheets was in 2019, from Oct. 1-Oct. 22.
