CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The University of Dallas men's tennis team lost their non-conference match against the University of the Ozarks on Monday. They fall to 0-6 on the year.
In doubles play, Thomas O'Donnell and Andrew Le got their first crack at line one together and were defeated 8-1. Shu-Lun Chang and John Paul Collins took their match at line two down to the wire. They were defeated 8-7, losing the deciding game 13-11. Joey Nelson and Vincent Salvo were defeated 8-0 at line three.
In singles play, Chang was back to his winning ways in a hard fought matchup; he won 6-4, 6-4 to pick up his fifth win in singles play this season. Collins was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at number two, and O'Donnell managed to wrestle a few points at number three, going down 6-2, 6-1. Le and Nelson were both defeated 6-0, 6-0 at lines four and five, respectively, and Salvo was beaten 6-1, 6-0 at line six.
The Crusaders cap off their spring break schedule with a pair of matches tomorrow. They will face Bethany College at 9:00 a.m. and John Brown University at 2:00 p.m., with both matches being hosted by John Brown in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
