IRVING, Texas -- The University of Dallas women's soccer team falls to SCAC foe, Texas Lutheran in the second part of a double-header on Friday, with a final score of 2-4. Dallas is now 0-1 in SCAC play and holds an overall record at 2-5 on the year.
The Crusaders found themselves down early on as the Bulldogs were in attack mode from the kick. Texas Lutheran scored in under 2 minutes of play. The Crusaders' keeper was hard at work, the Bulldogs found the back of the net 3 times in under 30 minutes of play.
Dallas' Megan Morales netted their first goal in the 43rd minute assisted by Haley Cline, bringing the deficit to 2 before the half for the Crusaders. Texas Lutheran would go on to add to their cushion, making it 4-1. In the 85th minute Haley Cline would find the goal herself to bring the final to a competitive 2-4.
Dallas' Ella Charles had 7 saves on 11 shots on her goal.
