SHREVEPORT, Louisiana -- This morning the Crusaders competed at the 2024 SCAC Men's and Women's Championships.
The Men placed 8th out of 10, with Centenarry not having a full team to compete on either side.
It was the first 6k of the season for the Women as the team competed in 5k distances all season. They beat Concordia Texas placing 9th out of 10
Highlights
Coach Nick recaps the season, "All season long the team had two a days starting off with 6 am workouts. And yet most of them still came on time and worked their tail off. They still managed to be successful in the classroom despite the rigors of the classical education curriculum. This is a very young team and they are committed. Many will be doing track and most will be continuing on with cross country. This is one of the best groups I have ever coached and I am super proud of them."
