IRVING, Texas -- The University of Dallas women's soccer team defeats LeTourneau at home on Friday, with a final score of 2-0. Dallas evens their record at 2-2 on the year.  

The Crusaders controlled this match from the opening. Dallas scored in the early minutes in a goal from Claire Reed. Reed netted the first goal for Dallas in the 14th minute to take the lead, 1-0. The Crusaders made it their mission to stay on the attack, with 10 shots on goal coming out of the gates with six in the first 30 minutes. Dallas would find themselves in a battle midway through the second period as the Yellowjackets would turn up the intensity.

Dallas' Reed stood unphased by the Yellowjackets pressure and netted an insurance penalty in the 68th minute.
