WINCREST, Texas – The University of Dallas women's cross country team earned a strong second-place finish at the Our Lady of the Lake Invitational at Wincrest Golf Club.

Dallas posted a team score of 53 points with a total time of 2:10:50, placing just behind host Our Lady of the Lake. The Crusaders showcased consistency throughout the lineup, with five runners finishing inside the top 20.

Averi Garrity led the way for Dallas, placing 11th overall with a time of 25:01.3. Close behind was Teresa Cashen in 13th (25:11.7) and Allison Leonesio in 14th (25:23.8). Eva Posada-Arrendondo followed in 19th (26:36.5), while Joanna McLean rounded out the team's scoring in 22nd (28:37.6).

First-year runners Gemma Bulcher (29:54.3) and Lexy Leonesio (35:08.7) also contributed strong efforts to help Dallas secure its best team finish of the season.

The Crusaders will look to build on this performance as they continue their fall campaign in Georgetown.
