Coach Nick Bids Farewell

IRVING, Texas - After more than six seasons leading the program, Head Coach Nick Schneigert is stepping down as head coach of the cross country and track and field programs. His time here was filled with historic milestones, strong relationships, and will leave a lasting impact on UDallas athletics.

Coach Nick added, "These past six-plus years at UD have been nothing short of incredible, filled with memories, relationships, and milestones that I'll always cherish. From my very first 5:30 a.m. practice watching an armadillo cross the soccer field, to celebrating the accomplishments of our student-athletes, this journey has been truly special.

I've been fortunate to work alongside dedicated colleagues and to build lasting bonds with my players. With strong leadership moving the university, conference and athletics program in the right direction, and with UD even being the place where my son was baptized and I grew closer to God, I am deeply grateful. I wish the school and the department nothing but success, what a ride it has been"

We are forever grateful for the dedication shown by coach Nick over the years and look forward to building on the foundation he laid for future Crusaders.
