IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas has officially named Chase Reynolds head coach of the men's soccer program, removing the interim tag after he successfully completed his first season at the helm and laid a strong foundation for cultural growth and long-term success within the Crusader program.
A familiar face on the sidelines, Reynolds returned to UDallas after a decorated five-season playing career from 2017 to 2021, taking advantage of the additional year granted due to COVID-19. The Southlake, Texas native quickly transitioned his deep connection to the program into purposeful leadership, emphasizing accountability, competitiveness, and unity as cornerstones of a renewed team culture.
During his playing career in blue and white, Reynolds helped guide the Crusaders to three SCAC Tournament appearances, including a run to the SCAC Finals in 2017. A three-time Team MVP and four-time All-SCAC selection, he ranks among the program's all-time leaders, sitting Top 5 in assists, Top 10 in goals scored, and Top 3 in games played, starting all 75 matches he appeared in.
Following his graduation, Reynolds earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Business (2021) and MBA (2023) from the University of Dallas before beginning his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Concordia University during its inaugural SCAC season. There, he played a key role in guiding the Tornados to a 9-5-4 record, finishing just one point shy of a conference tournament berth. Concordia's offense ranked third in the SCAC in goals scored, six players earned All-Conference honors, and 20 student-athletes were recognized on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.
Now officially named head coach, Reynolds looks to build on the progress made during his first season, continuing to shape a culture rooted in excellence, development, and pride in the Crusader identity as the program moves forward.
