IRVING, Texas - The Crusaders have faced a brutal six-game stretch, squaring off against two of the top teams in the league. Their three-game road trip was a test of endurance and resilience, with each contest slipping just out of reach despite their best efforts. Battling tough pitching and late-inning heartbreaks at the plate, the Crusaders returned home determined to turn things around. But the struggles continued as they dropped the first two games of their home series, leaving them with six straight losses and a tested bit of confidence. Yet, even in defeat, the team's spirit remained unbroken. Their coaches preached perseverance and learning how to win, and the players clung to the belief that their hard work would soon pay off.
