Crusaders Leave Austin Empty Handed

AUSTIN, Texas – Dallas faced a difficult end to their weekend series against Concordia, suffering a 13-4 defeat in the last game of the series. Despite some strong individual performances at the plate, the Crusaders (7-27, 3-20 SCAC) were overwhelmed by the Concordia (21-12, 16-7 SCAC) offense and its firepower. The game ended in five innings due to the run-rule, with Concordia claiming the victory to close the series.

In the series opener, the Crusaders struggled to keep pace with Concordia's offensive explosion, falling 13-4 in just five innings. Dallas recorded six hits in the game, with Ava Aleman making an impact, going 1-for-1 with two RBIs. SunnyDale Thies had a solid performance at the plate as well, collecting two hits in three at-bats. Mariah Hinojosa and MacKenzie Flocke also contributed with a hit each, while Emily Luna and Bre Barnes added one hit and a run scored a piece. Despite the offensive efforts, the Crusaders couldn't overcome the Concordia surge and ultimately fell short in the run-rule shortened game.

UDallas will host the Eagles of Ozarks for Senior Night on Friday night April the 11th. A double-header at 5PM & 7PM
