TUNICA RESORTS, Mississippi. – The University of Dallas men's golf team earned a strong third-place finish at the Rhodes Fall Invitational, highlighted by a top individual performance from senior Iain Griggs on Tuesday afternoon.
Griggs paced the Crusaders with rounds of 70-71-74 to post a 1-under-par 215 across 54 holes, finishing tied for third individually. His effort marked the program's lowest tournament total of the fall and featured back-to-back under-par rounds to open play at the par-72 Tunica National Golf Club.
Behind Griggs, first-year Zachary Vickers carded rounds of 75-78-75 to place 26th at 12-over 228, while sophomore Thomas Oubre followed with a 43rd-place finish at +16 (74-82-76). First-year Matthew Duphorn closed out the Crusader lineup with a +17 total of 233, including a steady second-round 74, while sophomore Benji Cronenwett rounded out scoring with a 245.
