UDallas Takes Dallas Invitational

IRVING, Texas –– The University of Dallas women's cross country program excelled in their home debut at the Dallas Invitational on Saturday morning, as the women's squad claimed first place overall.

The Crusaders put together a dominant showing, placing five runners in the top nine to edge out Hardin-Simmons and Texas Wesleyan. Teresa Cashen led the way with a fourth-place finish at 22:58.3, followed closely by Sophie Barajas (23:20.8), Eva Posada-Arrendondo (23:31.2), and Allison Leonesio (23:50.2). Emily Caroul sealed the scoring for the Crusaders with a ninth-place run in 25:19.9, giving UDallas a commanding team victory in their season debut.
