IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's tennis team split a pair of matches over the weekend, falling to McMurry before bouncing back with a 4-3 victory over Schreiner in non-conference play.

Against McMurry on March 27, the Crusaders dropped a 5-2 decision despite a strong showing in doubles. Dallas secured the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3, as Gabriel Alfaro and Gordon Huckestein teamed up for a victory, while Wheeler Ehrlich and Juan Bustamante earned a tightly contested win in the third position. In singles play, Ehrlich provided the lone point for the Crusaders with a straight-set victory at No. 5, while Christian DeLira (No. 1), Alfaro (No. 2), Cayven Yi (No. 3), Huckestein (No. 4), and Bustamante (No. 6) battled but were unable to secure additional wins.

UDallas returned to the court on March 28 against Schreiner, where the Crusaders rallied for a 4-3 win.
