KERRVILLE, Texas — The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Schreiner Shootout hosted by Schreiner University, completing 36 holes on the par-72, 7,059-yard course.

Mike Zhang led the Crusaders with a strong showing, finishing tied for second overall at 9-over-par for the tournament. Zhang opened the event with an even-par 72 before posting an 81 in the final round to pace the Dallas lineup.

Thomas Oubre followed closely behind, finishing at 10-over after rounds of 76 and 78 across the two days. Sean McGarrity recorded rounds of 85 and 80 to finish the tournament at 21-over.

Iain Griggs added rounds of 80 and 83 to close at 19-over for the event, while Ethan Hoang rounded out the Crusader competitors with rounds of 83 and 85.

The Crusaders will now turn their attention to the next tournament on the spring schedule following their showing in Kerrville.
