DENTON, Texas — University of Dallas women's track and field competed at the UNT Bill Schmidt Invite on Saturday, turning in several strong performances and personal bests against a competitive field.
In the women's 400-meter dash, junior Bailey Haas led the Crusaders with a ninth-place finish after crossing in 1:01.08. Sophomore Teresa Cashen followed with a time of 1:05.79, while senior Nora Eulie recorded a personal-best mark of 1:21.80. Freshman Rosie Beard was unable to compete.
Freshman Eva Posada-Arrendondo represented UDallas in the women's 800 meters, finishing in 2:51.56.
The Crusaders saw multiple personal bests in the women's 5,000 meters. Freshman Joanna McLean paced the squad with a 10th-place finish and a personal-best time of 21:21.08. Fellow freshman Emily Caroul also achieved a personal record after clocking 23:12.20, while Lexy Leonesio completed the race in 25:29.37. Freshmen Averi Garrity and Kristen Forddid not compete.
