Bill Westhoff pitched for the University of Dallas baseball teams from 1999 through 2002. During that time the team posted a record of 126 wins and 38 loses. The record included three consecutive American Southwest Conference Division Championships and a 2002 record of 33-3 and a .916 winning percentage which led NCAA Division III and at the time was the highest winning percentage recorded in Division III. Westhoff was a major contributor to that record and posted a career record of 15 wins and 1 loss for a .937 winning percentage, second best in UD history, with 156 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.94. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the seventh round and played three years in the Astro organization.
