Patty Danko was a student at University of Dallas in the 1980's when athletics was revived as an intercollegiate program. She became involved in program administration as a student and continued on after graduation as the Sports Information Director and when the program transitioned from the NAIA to NCAA Division III status she was the first Senior Woman Administrator. Patty had a deep interest in seeing the program succeed and helped out in many capacities including coaching of the track team.  Without her deep commitment athletics would not have been able to make the transition that it has made into a viable NCAA Division III member.
