2009 through 2012 was a successful era for UD volleyball and a major reason for that success was Theresa Wohldmann. Notably, she set a season record for kills in 2010 with 496 as part of her UD career record of 1536 kills. Overall she played 473 sets, had 184 aces, 1411 digs, 159 block assists and holds a 3.24 kills per set mark. All of those marks are top ten in UD volleyball history. Those records led to her selection as a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American in 2010, 2011, and 2012. The 2009 team won the championship of the North Eastern Athletics Conference (NEAC) and were the first UD volleyball team to appear in the NCAA Division III tournament. The 2010 team posted a record of 26-11 .702, the best ever by a UD volleyball team. The team was selected for the USCAA tournament where they made it to the quarterfinals.
