Brandon Hartsell played basketball for the University of Dallas from 1990-91 through 1993-94 appearing in 98 games and was a member of the first UD men’s basketball team, 1991-92, to go to the postseason and post a win in the NAIA District play. He is one of fifteen players with over 1,000 points for a career, standing sixth on the list with 1,391 points. His main strength was rebounding, being the UD career leader with 779 rebounds, 7.9 per game. Other career marks include 561 field goals, 247 free throws and 63 blocks, all of those numbers placing him in the top 10 in UD history. After UD, he played several years of professional basketball in Croatia and Germany.
