Bio
Mary Peters (Hunt) ran cross country for Dallas in 1981 and 1982. She became the first individual champion in program history by winning the 1981 NAIA District 8 Championship, and was the only individual champion for the program until 2002. With her championship win, she qualified for the NAIA National Championship, and led what is still the largest contingent of women to qualify for nationals. Peters qualified for nationals yet again in 1982, becoming the first woman in program history to qualify twice.
