The University of Dallas softball team plays Hardin-Simmons University in a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday. Dallas in the midst of a season-long, 10-game home stand.

The Crusaders are 0-4 on the current home stand after being swept this past weekend by Schreiner University (2-1 F/8, 3-0, 7-5, 5-1).


- Julie Duenas (Houston, Texas) paces the Crusaders offense with a .364 batting average (24-66). She has belted four home runs on the season, including three over the last six games in under a week. Her 12 RBI also lead the team.

- Mel Savala (Bryan, Texas) ranks second on the squad with a .292 batting average and has hit safely in five-of-eight games. Her 14 hits are tied for third with Bri Torres (Cypress, Texas).

- Liz Cordova (Oklahoma City, Okla.) and Caitlynn Stevenson (Henderson, Nev.) are tied for second on the team for hits with 17 each. Cordova is tied with Torres with the team-lead for doubles (7) and Stevenson has laced three triples.

- Emily Martin (San Jose, Calif.) has spun a 1.93 ERA through six appearances on the season. She allowed just one run in five relief appearances and gave up just three hits, three walks, and struck out four in 7.1 innings of relief on Sunday.

- The Crusaders are 5-7 in out of conference games this season, including 3-1 at home in such matchups.
