Nick Schneigert

Nick Schneigert recently completed his sixth season as head coach of the University of Dallas cross country teams. In his debut season, he led sophomore Anna Wilgenbusch to a historic campaign, becoming the first NCAA Division III All-American and national qualifier in school history. She set multiple program records and earned several conference and national honors, including SCAC and regional Runner of the Year and USCAA First Team All-American.

Led freshman phenom Alex Bozhilov in 2024 as he received SCAC All-Conference Honors, NCAA All-Region Honors and shattered several records.

Previous Stops
Schneigert brings over a decade of experience coaching at the collegiate, high school, and club levels, including successful stints at Harper College, Illinois Tech, Rockford University, and Triton College, where he launched the program and produced several USTFCCCA All-Americans.

In total, he’s coached 27 USTFCCCA All-Americans and nine NJCAA All-Americans. A U.S. Navy veteran and former All-Navy track athlete, Schneigert has completed over 100 road races, including nine marathons and one ultramarathon. He holds multiple USATF Level II certifications and a degree from Southern Illinois University.

Personal
Schneigert lives in Texas with his wife, Patty, and their children, Izabella Maria and Jakob Piotr. They are members of the Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. Both children attend Catholic schools in the Irving area.
