Cade Ryan, graduate assistant, enters his first season with the University of Dallas women's soccer program in 2026-27, bringing experience as a collegiate student-athlete, youth soccer coach, and finance professional in development. A lifelong DFW-area native, Cade joins the Crusaders while pursuing his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Planning at the University of Dallas.
Coaching Experience
Prior to joining the University of Dallas, Cade gained coaching experience as a youth soccer coach with San Antonio City FC during his senior year at Our Lady of the Lake University. In that role, he worked with five-year-old athletes, introducing young players to the fundamentals of soccer while helping create a positive and engaging environment centered on learning, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.
His experience coaching at the youth level provided an opportunity to develop his communication and leadership skills while learning how to effectively teach the game to athletes at an early stage of their development.
Playing Career - Our Lady of the Lake University
Cade was a four-year collegiate student-athlete at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), where he competed as a member of the men's soccer program from August 2022 through May 2026. During his time with the Saints, he balanced the demands of collegiate athletics with his studies in Business Finance.
His experience as a student-athlete provided him with firsthand insight into the commitment, discipline, teamwork, and time management required to compete at the collegiate level. Those experiences now serve as a foundation for his approach to coaching and supporting student-athletes.
Education
Cade earned his undergraduate degree in Business Finance from Our Lady of the Lake University in May 2026. He currently continues his education at the University of Dallas, where he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Planning.
Personal
Born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Cade returns to his hometown region to continue his education and begin his coaching career with the Crusaders. His background as a collegiate soccer player, youth coach, and graduate student provides him with a unique perspective on both the athletic and academic experiences of student-athletes.
