The University of Dallas women's soccer team wraps up the regular season this week with a pair of non-conference matches. The Crusaders are at Southwestern Adventist University on Thursday for a 6 p.m. kickoff. On Saturday, Dallas hosts its "Senior Day" match with McMurry University at 2 p.m.

Dallas (3-12-2) has dropped the past six matches. This includes a 1-0 overtime setback to Southwestern University last Sunday.


- Thursday's match ends a stretch of 12 conference games in a row for the Crusaders.

- UD is 1-3-1 in matches outside the league this season.

- Whitney Jackson (Pryor, Okla.) and Kate Vidimos (Bedford, Texas) are tied for the team-lead in points (8), goals (3), and assists (2).

- Elena Naccari (Covington, La.) moved alone into second in the saves career list for the program with 349. She ranks fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) for saves (67) and save percentage (.753).

- Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.) has split time with Naccari between the posts this season. She sits second in the SCAC for save percentage (.855) and goals against (11). Her goals-against average (1.12) is third.

- Dallas is a combined 5-0 versus its opponents overall. This includes three wins over Southwestern Adventist University.

- Mackenzie Vasile (San Antonio, Texas), Mason Cosgrove (Las Cruces, N.M.), and Vidimos scored a goal in UD's 4-1 win versus McMurry at Crusader Field in 2016.

- The Knights are members of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.

- Last season the Crusaders prevailed 9-0 on the road in Keene, Texas. Chelsea Reeh set a school record in goals scored with six and tied the points record with 12.

(McMurry Univeristy)

- The Warhawks are 3-13 overall and 1-10 in the American Southwest Conference.

- McMurry will play Hardin-Simmons University on Thursday before ending the regular season on Sunday in Irving.

- Angelica Navarro leads the team in goals (7) and assists (4) for 18 points (team-high).

- Cristen Lumbreras has contributed six goals.

- Jordan Gregory and Cindy Villasana have split time in goal this season. Gregory has made 12 starts and played 831:25 minutes in 15 matches. She has grabbed 48 saves. Villasana adds 33 saves in 530 minutes.  


Before kickoff on Saturday, seven Crusaders will be honored for the women's soccer team. This group features: Tori Fleharty (Richmond, Texas), Naccari, Sarahi Osorio (Dallas, Texas), Vasile, Aileen Machado (Dallas, Texas), Lauren Hood (Bedford, Texas), and Samantha Haeick (Las Vegas, Nev.).
