Austin took five shots in the second half and four in the first. With just eight minutes left in the half, Meza took a nice cross by Hailey Hurlburt (Lumberton, Texas) and used her back leg to direct it past the keeper. AC had two more opportunities late, but both shots were saved nicely by Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.).
Severson posted seven saves, only allowing one goal on the night. She is now (2-3-1) as a keeper in 2018. Dallas outshot Austin College 18-9.
