In the final home game of 2009, the Dallas men lost to the Rhodes College Lynx 63-52 after a 13 day break. Possessing a 2 point lead at the half wasn't enough for UD as the Lynx shot 45 percent in the second frame to pull out the win.

Senior guard Jim Norton (Louisville, KY/Holy Angels Academy) led the Crusaders in scoring with 17 points, and chipped in 4 rebounds and a team leading 3 steals, but it wasn't enough for UD. Fellow senior guard Jeff Pritchard (Oak Grove, LA/Frisco H.S.) also reached double digits and finished with 15 points, 2 steals, and an assist, and senior forward Travis Ekmark (Yokosuka, Japan/Nile C. Kinnick H.S.) led the team with 9 rebounds while adding a team high 4 assists, 7 points, and a block in the defeat.

The UD men return to the court on Saturday, January 2 against LeTourneau University. The home game starts at 2:00pm.
