Volleyball excels in Tri-Match, defeats Texas College and Mid-America Christian University

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas volleyball team edged Mid-American Christian in four sets (15-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-12), and swept Texas College in three to extend its home winning streak to six matches. Liz Baska posted a team-high 13 kills, while Danielle Fuchs added 10 in the matchup against Mid-America.

Emily Caples and Theresa Wohldmann paced the offense in the second game with 15 and 14 kills, respectively. C.J. Broadbent combined for 45 assists on the day. After the Crusaders pulled away with a 12-point win in the opening set against Texas College, both sides locked into an intense thrilling set that saw the home team prevail 29-27. The Crusaders secured their second win of the day with a 25-16 final in the last frame.
