IRVING, Texas -- The Crusaders defended home against the Warhawks of McMurry University. Dallas went on to fall in 3 sets, bringing the Crusaders record to 1-4 in SCAC Play, 1-16 overall.
The Crusaders dropped the first set in a close one, forcing the Warhawks to win by two scores ( 24-26 ). The Crusaders could not find their footing in set two but bounced back to force another win by two scenario. The Warhawks would prevail 23-25.
The Crusaders acquired 33 kills, 9 from Aliya Unseth, 8 from Marcette Williams, and 6 from Bailie Garcia.
Reagan Aponte managed 20 assists on the day, and Isa Swiatkowski had 11 digs across 3 sets of action.
