Crusaders Clash with No. 18 Ranked Cowgirls

IRVING, Texas -- The Crusaders played in two contests over the weekend, Dallas hit a bit of a road skid against top 20 ranked Hardin-Simmons and Howard Payne. The Crusaders dropped both matchups but the Crusaders showed signs of life in game 2, tieing at the half with Howard Payne, 27-27. 

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Adryan Alvarez had a weekend high of 16 points
  • Aaliyah Jones bounced back against HPU with 14 points, 9 boards, 1 steal and assist
  • Alyssa Sullivan was 1-2 from beyond the arc against HPU and had 13 points, 5 boards, 2 steals and blocks

NOTES

  • Crusaders Adriana Medina finished with 10 points against the Cowgirls of Hardin-Simmons
