IRVING, Texas -- The University of Dallas women's soccer team fell to Nelson University on Saturday, with a final score of 2-3. Dallas is now 2-4 on the year.
The Crusaders found themselves down early under the 30th minute as the Lions scored back-to-back goals. The Crusaders' Haley Cline would narrow the deficit at one before the half. The Crusaders' Ella Charles was was busy defending the goal on 5 of the 8 shots she faced.
The Lions scored the game winning goal before Dallas could get a shot at a tying goal. Semya Chancellor netted one for the Crusaders but it was too late to mount the comeback after multiple charges on the Lions net.
