IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas volleyball team wrapped up its final road weekend of the season with a pair of SCAC matches, taking on Centenary (La.) on Saturday before heading to Longview for a Sunday matchup against LeTourneau. Despite the results, the Crusaders showed stretches of competitive play, highlighted by improved attacking rhythm and strong defensive moments across both contests.
In Saturday's four-set battle at The Gold Dome, UDallas fell 25–15, 17–25, 25–13, 25–22, but delivered one of its most balanced outings of the season. Grace Achilles paced the Crusaders with 8 kills, while Ja'Niyah Boudreaux added 7 and Andrea Zavaleta-Vega contributed 5. Ava Jackson anchored the back row with 16 digs, and Isabella Salazar directed the offense with 14 assists.
On Sunday at Solheim Arena, UDallas battled LeTourneau but dropped the match in straight sets (25–11, 25–21, 25–6). Andrea Zavaleta-Vega led UD with 5 kills, followed by Boudreaux and Leslie Torres with 4 each. Jackson served 3 aces, while Torres collected 10 digs to pace the defense.
The Crusaders now turn their focus to closing out the season at home, carrying forward the individual growth and competitive stretches shown throughout the weekend.
