Porto, Dahl Tabbed All-SCAC Honorable Mention

IRVING, Texas – University of Dallas men's soccer standouts Ryan Dahl and Clayton Porto each earned Honorable Mention All-SCAC recognition, the conference announced Thursday following the conclusion of the 2025 season. The duo served as integral leaders for the Crusaders, combining consistency, composure, and grit throughout the campaign.

sophomore midfielder, Dahl emerged as a reliable playmaker and finisher for Dallas, starting 15 of 16 matches and totaling three goals on 21 shots. He finished second on the team in scoring with six points and placed nearly 43 percent of his attempts on goal. Dahl's ability to create chances from midfield and maintain possession under pressure made him a key piece in the Crusaders' attack.

On the defensive end, senior captain Clayton Porto anchored the Dallas back line with poise and leadership. Starting all 16 matches and logging over 1,300 minutes, Porto helped steady the Crusaders' defensive unit while providing a vocal presence and tactical awareness that guided the team through a competitive SCAC slate.

Together, Dahl and Porto exemplified the Crusaders' trademark toughness and unity, representing the blue and white with distinction both on and off the pitch.
