IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's basketball team fell 64-44 on the road at Austin College, looking to find their footing early before settling in for a better offensive rhythm in the second half.
La'Aria Miller led the Crusaders with an efficient 18 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3PT), while
Gabriella Barrera added 9 points and four starters grabbed at least two rebounds. UD put together a strong fourth quarter, shooting 58% from the field, but Austin's balanced scoring and 19 points off turnovers proved too much to overcome as the Crusaders moved to 1-6 on the season and 0-1 in SCAC play.
