AUSTIN, Texas – Dallas faced a tough weekend against Concordia, dropping both games of the series. Despite some solid individual performances, the Crusaders were overwhelmed by Concordia's offense, losing 13-4 in the first game and 16-1 in the second. Concordia (20-12, 15-7 SCAC) claimed both victories, outscoring Dallas (7-26, 3-20 SCAC) by a wide margin to secure the series.

In the series opener, Dallas battled both at the plate and in the field, falling 13-4 to Concordia in just five innings. The Crusaders collected seven hits, with Keely Mathis and MacKenzie Flocke leading the offense—Mathis going 2-for-2, while Flocke recorded a hit and an RBI. Ava Aleman also had a strong performance, going 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Despite the efforts from the hitters, the Crusaders couldn't hold off Concordia's offensive surge, and the game was called at the Top pf the 5th due to the run-rule.

Game 2 saw another tough loss for Dallas, as they fell 16-1 in five innings. The Crusaders managed just four hits, with Keely Mathis and MacKenzie Flocke contributing the only notable performances at the plate. Mathis went 1-for-2, while Flocke also recorded a hit. Mariah Hinojosa's lone extra-base hit, a double, was the highlight of a quiet offensive effort. Concordia dominated offensively, scoring in nearly every inning to racking up another run-rule victory.
Dallas will look to bounce back in Sunday, hoping to improve on their offensive production as they look to steal a game as the series closes.
