Crusaders End Weekend On High Note

IRVING, Texas - UDallas had a rollercoaster of a weekend. Dropping a conference battle to the 'Roos but quickly bouncing back against Lonestar.

The University of Dallas volleyball team continued SCAC play on Thursday evening, falling in three sets to Austin College in Sherman, Texas (25–10, 25–14, 25–17).

The Crusaders found their rhythm late but couldn't overcome a strong offensive attack from the 'Roos. Grace Achilles and Ava Jackson each tallied five kills to pace the UDallas offense, while Andrea Zavaleta-Vega added four. Achilles also led at the service line with four aces, and Syraia Harvey directed the offense with 11 assists. Defensively, Breana Timms anchored the back row with 13 digs, supported by Isabella Woodley's nine.

UDallas quickly turned the page, however, with a dominant showing in Houston to cap the weekend. The Crusaders swept Lonestar College behind steady play at the net and closed the match in emphatic fashion as Breana Timms delivered three straight service aces to seal the victory. The win helped UDallas get back on track and regain momentum heading into the next stretch of competition.
