IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's basketball team earned a 2-0 mark in SCAC play in their 90–81 win over Austin College at the Maher Athletic Center.
The Crusaders controlled the tempo early, taking a 43–39 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and strong ball movement. Dallas continued to build momentum in the second half, shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 6-of-8 from three-point range after the break to pull away.
UDallas finished the game shooting 50.9 percent overall and an impressive 95.8 percent from the free-throw line, converting 23-of-24 attempts. The Crusaders also won the rebounding battle 38–27 and received 21 bench points.

Thomas Fleming led all scorers with 22 points, knocking down 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and going a perfect 4-for-4 at the line.

Johny Olmsted followed with 19 points, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and 3-of-3 from three-point range, while adding three assists.
- Chandler Holmes added 15 points, along with five rebounds, five assists, and three steals, contributing on both ends of the floor.
