IRVING, Texas – University of Dallas men's soccer student-athlete Ryan Dahl has been selected to represent the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) on the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

The national committee serves as a voice for Division III student-athletes, providing input on NCAA legislation, policies and initiatives that directly impact the student-athlete experience. Dahl, a forward entering his third year with the UDallas men's soccer program, will have the opportunity to advocate for student-athletes at both the conference and national levels.

Beginning in January 2027, Dahl will join 42 fellow student-athletes on the national committee, which includes representation from each Division III conference. Together, the committee will serve as a collective voice for more than 200,000 Division III student-athletes nationwide, helping shape conversations and decisions that influence the future of collegiate athletics.

"I am honored to have been selected to represent the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference on the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee," Dahl said.

His selection presents a significant opportunity to elevate the perspectives of student-athletes beyond the University of Dallas and the SCAC, ensuring their experiences and concerns are represented at the national level.

"I look forward to representing the University of Dallas and the SCAC while advocating for student-athletes across Division III," Dahl added.
