Crusaders Season ends in Arkansas

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. — The University of Dallas women's basketball team fell 66-47 to Ozarks (AR) on Friday night at Mabee Gymnasium.

The Crusaders struggled to find their rhythm early, scoring just seven points in the opening quarter and trailing 21-7 after the first 10 minutes. Dallas showed improvement in the second quarter, cutting into the deficit with more efficient shooting, but Ozarks maintained control heading into halftime.

UDallas continued to battle in the third, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome. The Crusaders finished the night shooting 27.3 percent from the field and 17.4 percent from three-point range while collecting 41 rebounds.

Top Performers – Game One

Gabriella Barrera led Dallas with 10 points and six rebounds.
Sarah Mirza added nine points and five rebounds while recording three steals.
Isabelle Chevalier contributed seven points and six boards.


CONWAY, Ark. — Dallas returned to action Saturday, falling 74-47 to Hendrix at Grove Gymnasium.

The Crusaders kept the game competitive early, trailing just 13-8 after the first quarter and showing strong third-quarter execution by shooting 50 percent from the field in that frame. However, Hendrix pulled away with a decisive fourth quarter, limiting Dallas to just three points in the final period.

UDallas finished shooting 25.9 percent from the floor and 18.9 percent from beyond the arc while converting 10-of-11 free throws.

Top Performers – Game Two

Sarah Mirza paced the Crusaders with 10 points, adding six assists and two steals.
Isabelle Chevalier finished with nine points, knocking down three three-pointers.
Gabriella Barrera added seven points in the effort.
