UDallas Women's Soccer Falls to East Texas Baptist

MARSHALL, Texas – The University of Dallas women's soccer team battled East Texas Baptist University on Tuesday night at Cornish Field, falling 3-0 to the Tigers.

UDallas battled through a competitive opening half, with East Texas Baptist breaking through in the 37th minute when Grace Dale found the back of the net. The Tigers carried the 1-0 advantage into halftime.

ETBU added to its lead just over a minute into the second half, as Grace Shurley scored in the 47th minute. Despite continued defensive pressure, UDallas was unable to find the breakthrough, with the Tigers adding a third goal from Hannah Warren in the 85th minute.

The Crusaders' defense was tested throughout the night as ETBU registered 23 shots, including 19 on target. UDallas goalkeeper Ella Charles, play remained a bright spot, with the Crusaders recording 16 saves in the match. UDallas also earned three corner kicks while committing just five fouls and playing the entire contest without a caution.
