IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas (3-7, 0-2) volleyball team drop midweek bout to No. 13 East Texas Baptist University (11-3, 2- 0) Tuesday evening at the Maher Athletic Center.
The Crusaders battled throughout the opening two sets, including a closely contested second frame that extended beyond 25 points, just barely slipping through the Crusaders grasps. UDallas finished the match with a .188 team hitting percentage, while East Texas Baptist posted a .355 mark.
East Texas Baptist held advantages in kills (43-31), aces (10-5), assists (28-27) and digs (38-26). The Crusaders controlled the net with a 4-1 advantage in blocks.
Faith Harris led the UDallas attack with eight kills, while Ja'Niyah Boudreaux and Ellie Karasek added six apiece. Jordan Jackson paced the Crusaders from the service line with three aces, while Harris and Gisele Morales each recorded one.
Boudreaux led UDallas at the net with two blocks, while Harris and Kaylee Douglas each added one.
Morales directed the Crusader offense with 11 assists, while Anais Ibarra added nine and Ava Jackson contributed two. Faith Harris and Ava Jackson shared the team lead with four digs apiece, while Boudreaux added three.
Final scores by set, 15-25, 25-27 and 13-25.With the result, UDallas moves to 3-7 overall and 0-2 in SCAC play on the 2026 season.
