Alexis Emanuel

Alexis Emanuel was named the 17th head coach of the University of Dallas women's volleyball program ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Lane College
Emanuel comes to UDallas after three seasons as head coach at NCAA Division II Lane College, where she guided the Dragons to 48 wins, including 31 victories in conference play. Under her leadership, the program experienced steady progress and competitive success within its league.

Fisk University
Prior to Lane, Emanuel spent three seasons at Fisk University, where she served as both an assistant coach and an admissions counselor. During her time at Fisk, she helped build the program while supporting student-athletes in their academic and personal development.

Alliance Volleyball Club & High School
Emanuel brings extensive experience at the club and high school levels. She coached with Alliance Volleyball Club for eight years, working with athletes across multiple age groups, and spent two years coaching high school volleyball, helping young players develop their skills and love for the game.

Personal
A Fort Worth, Texas native, Emanuel was a dynamic six-rotation outside hitter for Fisk, demonstrating her versatility by playing every position on the court. Her all-around ability earned her multiple all-tournament and all-conference honors, and she was a cornerstone of the Bulldogs’ success throughout her career. Emanuel graduated from Fisk in 2018 with a degree in Sport Psychology.
