In their second attempt at taking down the Southwestern University Pirates, the UD men's basketball team didn't fare much better losing 75-59 in Georgetown, TX. Four Crusaders in double digit points couldn't rescue UD as the team fell behind by 13 after a 26 point first half.

Senior point guard Jeff Pritchard (Oak Grove, LA/Frisco H.S.) and junior guard/forward Noah Pettit (Fairfax, CA/Sir Francis Drake) led Dallas with 14 points each, and senior guard Jim Norton (Louisville, KY/Holy Angels Academy) and senior forward Travis Ekmark (Yokosuka, Japan/Nile C. Kinnick H.S.) added 12 and 10 points in the loss. Pritchard added an assist and a steal, and Pettit tied for the team lead with 6 rebounds. Norton chipped in 2 assists and 2 steals, while Ekmark had a team leading 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block.

The UD men, like the women's team, has a much needed break before taking to the court on December 19. The 4-4 Dallas men face the Rhodes College Lynx at 3:00pm
