On Tuesday night, the University of Dallas men's basketball team (1-3) was in action versus Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss.
This time around, two Crusaders reached double-digit points, in senior guard/forward Noah Pettit (Fairfax, Calif./Sir Francis Drake), and freshman guard Braeton Hightower (Sperry, Okla./Owasso H.S.).
Pettit amassed 12 points, going 3-of-6 from the field in addition to netting six free throws in as many attempts.
Hightower, who has reached double-digits in the first four games of his young career, had 11 points on 3-of-7 from the field, and going 4-of-4 from the charity stripe.
Team size played a significant role, as the Crusaders were out-rebounded 23-38, thus, leading to a 19 point disparity in second chance points.
UD will next be in action on Nov. 26, as they open the Colorado College Thanksgiving Classic against the host team, at 6:00 p.m.
