BELTON, Texas -- The University of Dallas volleyball team was hosted by Mary Hardin-Baylor, including matches against the host team, and Hendrix. Games were played on Friday and Saturday.  

The Crusaders played in two contests and ended the weekend with a season record of 0-9. Dallas battled Friday, hanging tough in all three sets against UMHB. Dallas recorded 46 total kills to UMHB's 52. Sets 2-4 were all within 6 points. Dallas would go on to bounce back after set 1 by taking the second set, 25-21. Dallas ultimately fall in the fourth set, 22-25. 

The Crusaders settled into their Saturday match-up against Hendrix College and found something in sets 2 and 4, winning set 2, 25-19 and set 4, 25-22. The Crusaders would fall in 5 sets but fought to the end. This weekend is one to build upon as the Crusaders gear up for a three game weekend homestand.

Aliya Unseth had a team-high 13 kills against Hendrix and 4 blocks.

Reagan Aponte averaged about 30 assists across both matches and A'talia Kelly had 6 total blocks.
