IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team wrapped up its weekend road trip with a pair of SCAC matchups, falling to LeTourneau University on Friday evening and Austin College on Sunday afternoon.
On Friday in Longview, the Crusaders faced a strong offensive showing from LeTourneau, ultimately dropping a 6–0 result at LETU Soccer Field. The YellowJackets struck early in the 6th minute and carried a 2–0 advantage into halftime before adding four more goals in the second half. Dallas recorded five shots in the match, with one on target, while goalkeeper Malachi Varghese collected seven saves.
Dallas returned to action Sunday in Sherman against Austin College, where they showed improved defensive organization but came up short in a 2–0 decision. The 'Roos found the back of the net once in each half despite a more balanced effort from the Crusaders, who produced five total shots and earned three second-half corner kicks. Clayton Porto was booked in the 62nd minute as the only caution of the match.
The Crusaders will look to regroup as they continue conference play next week, aiming to build on their competitive stretches and find consistency on both sides of the ball.
