IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to Ozarks on Sunday afternoon at the UDallas Soccer Field.
The Ozarks struck first in the 19th minute converting on a penalty kick to give Ozarks the early lead. Dallas battled back with eight first-half shots but couldn't find the equalizer before halftime.
Ozarks extended its advantage late in the match and never looked back. It was intense on the pitch from the first whistle. The Crusaders outshot their opponent 14-12, including a 6-4 edge in shots on target, and held a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks. However, the Eagles' goalkeeper made six saves to preserve the clean sheet.
With the result, UDallas fell to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in SCAC play, while Ozarks moved to 2-5-2 and 1-1 in the conference.
